This class intends to introduce German culture to students from
all departments with advanced German skills. The class will start
with an overview of German history. After that, certain fields like
German philosophy, literature, music, politics, science, scoiology
and their development will be a focus. Another important issue will
be modern German culture with a special focus on pop music, modern
film and youth culture in general.
